Product Engineer

Proposito del rol

Responsible for leading the company's integrations and automations squad, defining technical specifications, ensuring the quality of the features delivered and managing internal and external stakeholders. The role combines engineering judgment with product management skills, enabling the squad to operate with greater autonomy and speed.

Lead and coordinate the integrations and automations squad end to end
Define and document technical specifications for features
Review that development work meets the established acceptance criteria (PR review and/or functional validation)
Manage internal and external stakeholders, acting as the technical-product point of contact
Work with Tech Leads and developers to resolve technical questions and unblock impediments related to the squad
Support the implementation of solutions when the situation calls for it
Optimize the squad's workflow with productivity and AI tools

Requisitos

University degree or studies in progress (> 2 years) in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a technology focus, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or another related field, preferably.
Candidates without a university degree will be considered provided they have complementary technical training (e.g. a recognized bootcamp) and a solid track record of at least 5 years in clearly verifiable software development roles, though the preference is clearly for training in STEM fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in software development (preferably backend).
Previous experience working directly with stakeholders (clients, business areas, operations teams).
Desirable: experience as a Tech Lead or transitioning into Product Management / Product Engineering roles.
Formal prior experience as a Product Manager is not required, but it is an advantage, provided the technical requirements are met.
